Update on New Organ for St George’s Church Penang
The following photos show the organ being constructed in the church, the tonal finishing will begin soon, and it is hoped the organ will be completed by the end of June.
In addition - just before Easter we dismantled the organ of King’s College Chapel in the Strand, London. The organ is to be virtually new, apart from the original Gilbert Scott façade, and the remaining 1866 “Father” Henry Willis pipework.
From January of this year, we have commenced work on a new 21 stop organ for the auditorium of Urawa Girls’ School in Tokyo. More details to follow.
